BLOGVENTURE # 1

Here’s to a new start for 2017! I decided to write something about every adventure I will have for this year, whether it may be a good or an unpleasant one.
Last week, I had my first ever sleepover with my friends at a hotel and resort called Canyon Woods which is located in Laurel, Batangas.

It wasn’t actually a nice travel going there since the original road where you could pass through is under construction. But I think after the main road is done, the travel time would be shorter and the trip would be lighter.

Arriving at the resort, the staff were very accommodating but they seem to lack some information regarding their offered services for their guests. But overall, they have provided a pleasant service. I would actually rate them 8 out of 10.

Their amenities are good though there are still a lot of rooms for improvement. They have an indoor and outdoor pools which are both well-maintained. Their small, infinity-shaped Jacuzzi was very soothing and relaxing. The rooms in the hotel are good too. Though they have something like small cottages, we weren’t able to stay in one since mostly are under renovation. Though if you have a lot of budget, you could buy a cottage which can serve as a really pleasant rest house during the holidays.

Though they don’t allow their guests to bring their own food, snacks and even meals can be bought in their hotel’s restaurant. It was quite expensive, though I would rate their food service also 8 out of 10. But if you have the courage and have great hiding skills, you can sneak in some snacks like biscuits and chips. Just be sure that they won’t see it!! *oopssss bad tip I know, but very economical lol*

Overall, I would rate Canyon Woods 8 out of 10.But nothing will matter as long as you are surrounded with great people to share some laugh and unforgettable experiences with. So no matter where you go, as long as you are with the people whom you love, even a stay in a kubo overnight would be worth a while.
